  • Great Lakes National Program Office
    The Great Lakes National Program Office oversees and helps all Great Lakes stakeholders* work together in an integrated, ecosystem approach to protect, maintain, and restore the chemical, biological, and physical integrity of the Great Lakes.
  • Water Resources Center
    The Water Resources Center is a cooperative program of the College of Natural Resources, College of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences, and University of Minnesota Extension Service.

    Working to enhance the state's coastal environment and economy through high-quality research and public education programs. Our outreach staff conveys the needs of user groups, industry, and management agencies to university scientists.
Wildlife
  • Midwest Fish and Wildlife Service
    The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is the principal federal agency responsible for conserving, protecting and enhancing fish, wildlife and plants and their habitats or the continuing benefit of the American people.
  • The Wildlife Society
    The Wildlife Society (TWS), founded in 1937, is an international non-profit scientific and educational association dedicated to excellence in wildlife stewardship through science and education.
Conservation
  • Minnesota Conservation Federation
    The Minnesota Conservation Federation, the state's oldest conservation organization, is dedicated to preserving Minnesota's natural resources - its air, soil and minerals, its forests, waters and wildlife - through education and grassroots legislative action.

    PALS provides World Wide Web access to the resources of the Member Libraries of Minnesota's Statewide Project for Automated Library Systems.
  • Natural Resources Club
    The UMC Natural Resources Club is made up of UMC students interested in the natural resources field. The club meets every two weeks on Wednesday nights at 6 pm. We focus on issues related to natural resources.
  • The UMC Chapter of The Wildlife Society
    An organization of students interested in wildlife conservation. The Wildlife Society provides educational, social and field experiences every semester.
