Important Request for Course Syllabi
We need to update our syllabi website, so I am asking each faculty member to send his or her course syllabi for spring semester 2001 to Diane Moen.  If faculty members have syllabi from courses taught fall semester 2000 that are not being taught this spring, it would also be very helpful if they would send those to her. They can be sent as an attached Word document or as a website URL to dmoen@mail.crk.umn.edu

Snow Removal Set for February 8
As a service to our students, faculty, and staff, Facilities Management will clear Lot D of snow on Thursday, February 8, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and should be completed by 12:00 noon.  Please remove your vehicle from Lot D by 9:00 a.m. to avoid a ticket and tow.  If temperatures are extremely cold or other weather conditions are difficult, you will be notified if snow removal will be cancelled.  Please check your e-mail and voice mail for that info.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Student Fees Info
The UMC Student Fees Committee has been meeting, and the following timeline has been established for student fees.  Applications will become available on February 5.  These forms will be sent to student organizations electronically, or they can be picked up at the Bede Information Desk.  The applications are due February 16 at the Bede Information desk.  Hearings will be held on Thursday, February 22, from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Please notify me immediately if you know you will not be available for the hearing on February 22.  A new policy was adopted this year:  if organizations are asked to appear in front of the Student Fees Board, they will be asked to bring three student representatives to speak on behalf of their budget request.  For questions contact Pam Holsinger-Fuchs or any member of the Student Fees Board.
