Drug Recall Please
check out the following web site for more information. According
to the FDA, consumers should not panic, but check each product’s
label for PPA. A safer
alternative to PPA would be pseudoephedrine (Sudafed), which is
similar to PPA, but safer. If
unsure about a specific product, consumers can also call the FDA at
1-888-INFO-FDA or (301) 827-4570 to get answers to specific questions. UMC
Student Health has never carried any medications that contain PPA. Mathcounts

UROP offers financial awards to undergraduate students for
research, scholarly, or creative projects undertaken in partnership
with a faculty member. UROP affords undergraduates the unique educational experience
of collaborating with a faculty member on the design and
implementation of a project. It
encourages students to conduct research and pursue academic interests
outside of their regular courses by employing them to work on special
projects. UROP
applications are judged on the quality of the proposed project and the
educational benefit to the student.
Copies of UROP proposals submitted by UMC students that have
been funded are on reserve in the library. For more information
