University
of Minnesota History Books
The University has
published a history text titled The University of Minnesota
1945-2000. It is
authored by Stanford Lehmberg and Ann M. Pflaum.
It is a beautiful and remarkable recounting of the combination
of land grant mission and research focus of the University.
The book describes the challenges, triumphs, and
accomplishments of the University for the past 55 years.
Faculty and staff may have a personal copy by picking one up at
the Library. UMC is
featured, and you will find it very interesting reading.
