Early Childhood Fall Carnival, November 28
Members of UMC’s Early Childhood Club will host their fourth annual Early Childhood Fall Carnival on Tuesday, November 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Bede Ballroom.  The theme is “Fall 2000 Olympic Games.”  Students have planned fifteen different concurrent “activity stations” where children can take part in hands-on learning and activities.  Information about each activity will be posted at each station for parents.

The carnival is open to children of UMC students, faculty, and staff and to families in the Crookston community.  The event is appropriate for age levels ranging from six months to age 8.  An affordable child-friendly meal will be available for a small donation.

For more information, contact Connie Camrud at UMC’s Early Childhood Development Center.

United Way LogoUnited Way Campaign
We have had a great start to our United Way campaign; at this point we have reached 52% of our goal. Those who have pledged or contributed, we thank you.  For those who may still be holding on to your packets, please return them as soon as possible, even if you decide not to give.

Although we have until December 1, we would like to reach our goal and surpass it before then.

Remember for a little as $1 per pay period you can have a payroll deduction.  If you would like to make a one-time donation, please make the check out to United Way of Crookston, or to the specific charity you would like to give to.  Also, remember the Minnesota Environmental Fund can also be handled with payroll deductions.

Any questions, feel free to call me at 8335 or Anne Burke at 8610 or Dennis Magsam at 8400.

Thank you.
