Summer Start August 4-7, 2002
The Summer Start program is an exciting new opportunity for first-year students designed to help them with the transition to college life at UMC.  All interested first-year students are invited to take part in this program.  A promotional flyer was sent to all new students who are confirmed to register at Academic Advisement and Registration, and it was also put in faculty mailboxes in each academic center.  For more information about the Summer Start Program, please visit the FYE website at <www.umcrookston.edu/fye/Summer_Start/index.htm>.

The class number for this section of CA 1010-11 is #30361.  Please encourage students to register for this section of CA 1010.  In addition to taking the one-credit required course, students will participate in student success workshops and programming geared towards helping students succeed at college.  They will register for the course as part of the fall semester schedule, therefore the tuition for the credit will be assessed to their fall account, but there is an additional fee of $95 for room and board for the program.  First Year Experience Logo
