for Twelve Years and Thirteen Days: Remembering Paul and Sheila
Wellstone with Photographer Terry Gydesen, Jeff Blodgett, and
special guest Al Franken on Tuesday, October 14, 7 to 8:30 p.m.,

Minnesota.

new book from the University of Minnesota Press entitled, Twelve
Years and Thirteen Days: Remembering Paul and Sheila Wellstone. The
book will be released on October 14.
Essays by Walter F.
Mondale and Jeff Blodgett, Wellstone's former student and long-time
campaign manager, complement the photographs with personal reminiscences
of the Wellstones as political colleagues and friends.
Twelve Years and
Thirteen Days joins several other recent titles documenting
Minnesota politics published by the University of Minnesota Press,
including KSTP reporter Tom Hauser's political biography of Jesse
Ventura, Inside the Ropes with Jesse Ventura; Minnesota Public
Radio correspondent Mary Losure's account of the Highway 55 controversy,
Our Way or the Highway; and Minneapolis Star-Tribune editorial
