Morse Awards
Horace T. Morse
- University of Minnesota Alumni Association Awards for
Outstanding Contributions to Undergraduate Education
The Office of Academic Affairs has the application
information for the Morse Awards. Regular faculty
(tenure-track and tenured) or temporary (T or F) faculty
salaried through the University and holding a 66 2/3%
time or greater appointment who have been at the
University of Minnesota for at least five years may be
nominated. Nominations require the submission of a
dossier that highlights five areas; 1) Teaching, 2)
Advising, 3) Research and Artistic Activities, 4)
Academic Program Development, and 5) Educational
Leadership. The dossiers must be submitted to the Office
of Human Resources in Morrill Hall by Friday, January 28,
2000. I would encourage anyone from this campus who meets
the requirements to apply and the Office of Academic
Affairs will assist in compiling the materials. Please
contact me if you have any questions.
