Student Athletic Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.)
S.A.A.C. is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athletic experience, and to offer their input on rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes lives on NCAA member institution campuses.
Club's principle activities, events and programs:
Help with Northwood, Youth NFL Football, Youth NFL Football Super Bowl, Book Buddies at Washington Elementary School, Crookston Fall Sports Festival, Alumni Weekends, Eaglemania, Athletes 4Hire, Blood Drive(s), Spin-tacular Basketball Show, Make-A-Wish Chuck-A-Puck, Make-A-Wish Bake Sales, Special Olympics, and UMC Baseball/Softball Tailgates.
Club's community service:
American Red Cross Blood Drive, Crookston Fall Sports Festival (all community), Bowl for the Cure, Special Olympic Pirate Basketball Night, Crookston Elementary Book Buddies, and Youth NFL Football (3rd and 4th graders).
How to get involved in this club:
You need to be elected by your coach of the particular sport that you are participating in. Otherwise, if you’re an athlete and would like to join, you can contact your coach and talk with them or Natasha Kuhle.
