Responsibilities:

Registrar . Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, security and integrity of students' permanent records, overseeing the distribution of records data to students, alumni, faculty, staff and other publics; complying with all applicable federal and state laws, institutional rules and policies and Minnesota Board of Regents regulations and reporting requirements; and for developing and implementing appropriate procedures to facilitate these processes.

Institutional Research . Responsible for collecting, compiling and/or coordinating the collection of appropriate and accurate institutional data for institutional reporting to internal and external offices and agencies including University, state, federal and other agencies and to provide research and data analysis to support planning, management, institutional improvement and the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.

SEVIS Compliance . Responsible for insuring compliance with US Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Service and other federal, state and institutional regulations and policies related to the enrollment of international students under SEVIS; issuing all I-20 documents; representing UMC for F-1 student visa matters; and providing information on immigration regulations and procedures.
