| . | UMC to Host Seminar "Making Technology Work in Ag Education" August 19, 1997 Technology is revolutionizing agriculture and ag education. Join UMC faculty and staff and regional agricultural educators on Tuesday, August 19, at the University of Minnesota, Crookston for an exciting half day of demonstrations and activities showcasing technological innovations in agricultural education. Activities begin at 3:00 p.m. with several demonstrations of technology applications by UMC faculty and staff followed by a social hour and dinner featuring an address by Bob Bergland, University of Minnesota Regent and Former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. The evening will conclude with an on-line conference with the new Ag Education World Wide Web site at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. All agriculture educators in northwestern Minnesota are invited to this free event. Spouses are also welcome. |
