Equine Extravaganza at UMC April 21-22
Students enrolled in the equine industries management degree program at the UMC will sponsor the First Annual Equine Extravaganza on Saturday, April 21, at 6 p.m. in the University Teaching and Outreach Center Arena on the north edge of the UMC campus. A repeat performance will take place Sunday, April 22, at 2 p.m.
Admission to each performance is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. To reserve tickets, contact members of the UMC Horseman’s Association or Rodeo Association. UMC equine industries management students and others will work with UMC-owned horses to showcase their dressage, rodeo, jumping, and trick riding skills. Special events will include dressage quadrille and a reining demonstration by Crookston resident Joey Jorgenson, a UMC alumnus. The event is scheduled to last about two hours, and concessions will be available.
