UMC Women’s Association to Hold Holiday Auction December 7
The University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) Women’s Association will hold its annual holiday auction on Thursday, December 7, starting at 3 p.m. in Bede Ballroom on the UMC campus. The public is invited to attend.
From 3 to 5:30 p.m. the event features a bake sale, “Kringle Collection” sale, and a silent auction for various holiday themed items. At 5:30 p.m. a live auction for additional holiday items will begin. Refreshments will be served throughout the event. Many of the items to be auctioned will be on display on first floor of UMC’s Dowell Hall starting Monday, November 27.
All proceeds will go toward the UMC Women’s Association Scholarship Fund. The group hopes to raise $4000 over the next two years in order to help their scholarship fund reach a $10,000 goal and become an endowed scholarship at UMC.
