The UMC Turf Club will sponsor its Third Annual “Carl Speckler Open” on Saturday, May 4, starting at 10 a.m. at Crookston’s Minakwa Golf Club.  

Carl Speckler, of course, was the groundskeeper in the classic 70’s golf comedy, Caddyshack.  

The tournament is an 18-hole, 4-person scramble.  Entry fee is $25 per person, due at registration that morning.  Rules and sign-up are available at the Bede Info Desk.  All students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome.  Questions?  Contact Andy Weadge at UAJW280@mail.crk.mun.edu.
