UMC Football Team to Play at Metrodome November 10, Alumni Social to Follow Game
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) will host the Metrodome Football Classic at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis on November 9-10. This event features the last round of NSIC games for the football season. The University of Minnesota, Crookston Golden Eagles are scheduled to play Bemidji State University at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 10.
The NSIC has provided 200 tickets for the Metrodome Football Classic to UMC for pre-sale. Individuals interested in purchasing tickets should contact Lon Boike, UMC’s Athletic Director. Tickets are $4.00 per student and $8.00 per adult. Student prices apply to grade school age through college students; children under 5 are free.
Other games at the Metrodome will include Minnesota State University, Moorhead vs. Northern State at 5:30 p.m. on November 9; Southwest State University vs. Concordia College, St. Paul at 9 p.m. on November 9; University of Minnesota, Morris vs. Wayne State at 11 a.m. on November 10, and University of Minnesota, Duluth vs. Winona State at 6 p.m. on November 10.
At 5 p.m. on November 10, following the UMC-BSU game, the UMC Alumni Association will host an alumni social in the Metrodome’s Halsey Hall Room. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. Anyone attending the Metrodome Classic is invited to attend and to visit with UMC alumni and friends.
