Northwest School of Agriculture Reunion June 28-29 Five alumni will be honored at the annual Northwest School of Agriculture (NWSA) Alumni Reunion, scheduled for Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29, at UMC. Receiving the “Top Aggie Awards” will be: Charles “Casey” Brandtner ’50 of Moorhead, MN; Ralph and Carol (Green) Tucker ’52 of St. Thomas, ND; David Haugo ’52 of Waubun, MN; and Donald Strickler ’62 of Euclid, MN. In addition, the NWSA classes of 1927, 1932, 1937, 1942, 1947, 1952, 1957, 1962, and 1967 will gather for special class meetings. Festivities begin on Friday, June 28, at 9:30 a.m. with a 9-hole golf scramble followed by lunch at Minakwa Golf Club in Crookston. At 7:00 p.m. alumni members will take part in a social at the Northland Inn of Crookston. On Saturday, June 39, reunion registration begins at 9 a.m. in UMC’s Sahlstrom Conference Center and continues all day. A pig roast is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on the Mall. NWSA class meetings will be held at 1:30 p.m. with class photos starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Peterson Gazebo on the Mall. The evening buffet dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. in Brown Dining Room followed by the annual business meeting and alumni program honoring the Top Aggies for 2002. The NWSA Alumni Association represents graduates of the residential high school, which operated from 1905 through 1968 on what is now the campus of the University of Minnesota, Crookston.
