“Extreme Comedian” Chad Taylor to Perform at UMC February 26

Chad Taylor will perform his unique blend of “extreme comedy” and juggling on Wednesday, February 26, at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC).   The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in Kiehle Auditorium on campus.  The event is open to the public.  Admission is free for UMC students and $2 for others.

"Mad" Chad TaylorTaylor is a man of surprising talents and wide ranging experiences, but it is his "Chainsaws of Death" comedy and juggling act that has gained him the most notoriety.  “It’s amazing how many people want to watch you do something stupid,” says Taylor, as he juggles three running chainsaws, lights his finger on fire, and catches a 15-pound anvil with his head.

Taylor grew up in Santa Monica, California.  He describes himself as a juggler of careers as well as really bizarre objects.  He has performed his unique act on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, NBC’s Most Dangerous Acts, America’s Funniest People, and several television show in Japan, Germany, and Spain.  He is also a talented actor who trained at the Beverly Hills playhouse.  He has appeared on screen in Mr. Saturday Night, Pacific Blue, Nightstand, and two dozen national commercials.
