Hypnotist Frederick Winters to Perform at UMC September 25Hypnotist Frederick Winters will perform Wednesday, September 25, at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC). The performance will begin at 8 p.m. in Bede Ballroom on the UMC Campus. Admission is free to UMC students and $2 for all others. The event is open to the public. During his career as a stage hypnotist, Winters has performed over 2,000 shows, entertaining over 500,000 people. He has been nominated numerous times by college associations as being one of the best campus acts in the United States. Winters began learning hypnosis at Northwestern University in Chicago working under his mentor, hypnotist George Vaughn Lowther. After gaining his certification in hypnosis, he signed with Bass/Schuler Entertainment in the early nineties. He has performed about 200 shows across America each year ever since.
