Spring Convocation Set for March 26
UMC will hold its Spring Semester Convocation on Wednesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of the newly-renovated Kiehle Building. Jean Korkowski, Crookston Student Association President, will serve as master of ceremonies. All interested students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to attend. A special surprise guest speaker is planned.
As part of the program, the UMC Choir will perform a set of musical selections under the direction of George French, Associate Professor of Music. UMC Chancellor Don Sargeant will recognize members of the Chancellor’s 4.0 Club from Fall Semester 2002. Members of UMC's inaugural group inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society for first-year students, will also be recognized. Varsity athletics team captains will recognize their respective teams and provide updates on their accomplishments this season.
