The student-directed plays will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Baby Talk by Billy St. John, directed by Noelle Jarvis of Eden Prairie.  The comedy Baby Talk focuses on nine graduating high school seniors who flash back in time to when they were young children at daycare.  Their current principal, Mrs. Witherspoon, was the daycare director.  Through a relationship conflict the audience witnesses that the students’ behavior hasn't changed much from infancy.  The cast includes UMC students Peter Bankole, Jessica Cowan, Aimee Grosam, Mandy Munch, Chanel Myers, Craig Myers, Clare Neenan, Victor Obisakin, Jason Rarick, Jason Wentland, and Scott Wright.

At approximately 8:10 p.m., the second offering will be Wanted: One Groom by Claudene Rease, directed by Brandon Sykora of Browns Valley.  In this comedy Mr. and Mrs. Shand's meeting through a classified ad has brought them marital bliss, so they decide to place a want ad for a husband for their daughter, Kayla.  But the family carries strict requirements: respect for elders, a promising future, and an appreciation for antiques.  Soon after a young gentleman, who just happens to be eligible, appears at the family’s door answering an ad—for an antique statue.  Does the prospective buyer become the prospective groom?  The cast includes (pictured below from left) Micah Gast, April Berggren, Kristi Schill, Jennifer Orcutt, and Andy Clauson.

The closing play will begin at approximately 8:45 p.m. and is Werewolf? by William Gleason, directed by Matt Burdick of Coon Rapids.  In this play, the main character, Harold, is quite simply a loser.  His escape is the delusion that he has turned into a werewolf.  The problem is that even as a werewolf he's a failure.  As Harold relates his story to a long-suffering psychoanalyst, the audience sees that what he tells the doctor and the way things actually happen are quite different.  The cast includes (picture below from left) Cayla Wieland, Aimee Grosam, Adam Whetham, and Craig Myers.
