Finalists Named for UMC Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Four finalists have been selected by the search committee for the position of vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC). During the next two weeks each finalist will visit the campus to interview with the search committee, to present at a public forum held in Youngquist Auditorium, and to meet with various campus and community groups. Mark E. Huglen, Ph.D., chair of the UMC VCAA Search Committee, made the announcement Monday afternoon, March 15, 2004.The finalists are:
Robert Steven Aronstam’s public forum will be held Wednesday, March 24, at 1 p.m. Adenrele Awotona’s public forum will be held Thursday, March 25, at 1 p.m. W. Daniel Svedarsky’s public forum will be held Monday, March 29, at 1 p.m. Mark McColloch’s public forum will be held Tuesday, March 30, at 1 p.m. After campus interviews conclude, the search committee will gather campus feedback and submit a report to Chancellor Velmer S. Burton, Jr.
