Chistine Kane's live performances are like a letter to a close friend, filled with touching moments, laughter, under-your-skin observations and honesty and sincerity rarely matched on stage.  From coffee houses to major auditoriums on around the country, Christine doesn't have audiences, she has following.  Her music is influenced, not so much by other artists, but  her life and her refreshing take on the world around her.   From her roots in a Washington, D.C. Catholic family to Boston College to a brief (one year) career in Public Relations to waitressing to pay for studio time, to getting restless and moving to the mountains of North Carolina on a whim, Christine finds the universal truth in all experiences.  While barely out of college herself, Christine has already shared the stage with Nancy Griffiths, Shawn Colvin, Rioseann Cash, and Livingston Taylor.  This past summer she was selected to open for Nancy Griffiths at a kick off concert for the Olympics.  In her first year in NACA, Christine was named one of the top four solo acts in the country by Campus Activities Today.  She is currently in heavy rotation on radio stations in nearly half the country and is plying to sell out in nearly half the country and is playing to sell out crowds at some of the prestigious venous in the South and East.  Her newest CD was released nationally in September on Horizon Records.
