Dance Company to Perform in Crookston and at UMC
Zenon Dance Company will perform in Crookston the end of February. Zenon Dance Company performs modern and jazz dance, drawing from a repertoire that ranges from works created by emerging and ground-breaking young choreographers to pieces by nationally and internationally renowned masters.
On Tuesday, February 24, the Zenon Dance Company will give a demonstration from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Bede Ballroom at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC). There is no charge. This activity is made possible by a grant provided by the Minnesota state Arts board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature. In addition it is supported in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
On Friday, February 27, there will be a performance at 7:30 p.m. in Crookston High School Auditorium. Ticket prices are: adults $5, students $3, preschoolers free. Tickets are available at Montagues, Mary Noels Studio, Bede Student Center and at the door.
Zenon Dance company has been captivating audiences with performances of modern and jazz dance since 1983. Zenon is one of a few companies in the United States that performs both modern and jazz dance, drawing from a repertoire that ranges from works created by emerging and ground-breaking young choreographers to pieces by nationally and internationally renowned masters.
The Zenon Dance Company is committed to bring dance education and performance to young people.
