University of Minnesota, Crookston UMC Honors Outstanding Athletes and Team Supporters

Top athletes and team supporters were honored at the annual Athletic Social held in early May at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC).

Jason Lindquist, environmental and natural resource management major from Dalton and Mark Olsonawski, plant industries management major from Hallock were named Male Athletes of the Year. Karla Thormodson, health management major from Dalton was named Female Athlete of the Year.

The UMC Teambackers presented a check for $10,000 to the UMC Athletic Scholarship Fund. Tom Helgeson of KROX Radio was recognized as the Teambacker of the Year.
