University of Minnesota, Crookston WordmarkUMC Hosts "Sub-Zero" Volleyball Mixer

The UMC Volleyball program will once again sponsor its Annual "Sub-Zero" Volleyball Mixer on Saturday, January 17, at the University of Minnesota, Crookston Sports Center, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Coach Kelly Hollands defines the Volleyball Mixer as a blender, "We put all the players into a pool, shake them up and spit them out into equally divided coed teams." Hollands says that it is a fun day for volleyball enthusiasts to play volleyball and to meet new people who come to the mixer. The proceeds go to the UMC Volleyball program.

Each player will be ranked according to skill level. All players will then be divided up into comparable teams based on skill level. The pool(s) will be determined by how many players register. UMC has court space available for 100 people. Come join the fun and meet new volleyball people in the area.

Fee is $8 per person for adults of all ages.

Door registration is from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Play begins as soon as possible after teams have been determined.
