University of Minnesota, Crookston WordmarkJan. 14 Student Success Fair to Help Students Avoid Being "Clueless"

UMC students will "get clued in" about student success at the 1998 Student Success Fair, scheduled for January 14 in the Sahlstrom Conference Center. This year's Success Fair is scheduled in conjuction with 1998 Snow Daze Activities. The fair is free and open to all UMC students. It will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the center's entrance area.  This is the fourth anniversary of the fair.

The main purpose of the success fair is to promote the great variety of resources--academic, personal, social, financial--available to students to enhance their success. Representatives from departments across campus will discuss services, demonstrate skills, inform, entertain, and challenge UMC students.  Games, quizzes, prize sign-ups and many kinds of great information are a part of every Success Fair booth.  The fair is an attempt to bring the information directly to students, so it is held in the hallway and entrance area.
