NW MN Equine Conference Set for UMC

Please note:   the NW MN Equine Conference has been CANCELLED.

The third annual Northwest Minnesota Equine Conference will be held Saturday, April 10, at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) in Bede Ballroom and the University Teaching and Outreach Center.

The morning program will feature: Care and Diseases of Young Foals with Erica McKenzie and Adaptations of Training in Horses with Stephanie Valberg. The 2nd annual Stan Award will presented at the noon luncheon. Afternoon features include: driving seminar, longeing, ground driving, harnessing, first hitching, pleasure driving, obstacle driving, all taught by Nicky Overgaard.

Conference Fee is: adults $50, students $30, family rate $125, group rate for up to five people is $40 per person, six or more people is $30 per person.
