The musical "Little Shop of Horrors" will be presented by the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) Music-Theater Department Friday through Monday, May 7 through 10. Performances will begin nightly at 7:30 p.m. in Kiehle Auditorium. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students, with a family maximum of $10.
The musical comedy centers around a man- (and woman-) eating plant befriended by a lonely flower shop employee. The play is based on the film by Roger Corman, book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken, and screenplay by Charles Griffith.
