UMC Students to Present “The Seven Last Words of Christ” April 18

The Music and Theater Department and Cooperative Campus Ministry at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) will present “The Seven Last Words of Christ” Tuesday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in Bede Ballroom on the UMC Campus.  The performance is open to the public, and there will be no admission charge.

The musical cantata, by Theodore DuBois, will feature the UMC Choir, solo performances, and spoken word interludes.  George French, UMC Associate Professor of Music and Theater, will direct the choir and accompany the soloists.  Soloists include Tim Gerla of Climax, Anne Gillian Goodkind of Whitefish Bay, WI, Ben Horgen of Fisher, Jean Horn of Gonvick, Teresa Koberstein of Fisher, Nathan Martell of Red Lake Falls, Lacey Schmitz of Red Lake Falls, and Adam Wagner of Fisher.
