Moe Presents Check for Scholarships
Minnesota Senate Majority Leader Roger Moe recently presented a check for $18,000 from the Roger Moe Golf Classic held this summer in Northfield to UMC Chancellor Donald Sargeant.
The
Scholarship was established in 1993 by Senator Moe to assist students who
reside in District 02 in achieving their education goals. The scholarships
are split between male and female students. Students must graduate in the
top one-half of their graduating class. The funds are raised through the
annual Roger Moe Golf Classic held for a number of years in Northfield.
