The UMC Golden Eagles compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and are a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and the UMC Golden Eagle Equestrian Team is part of the NCAA Division II - Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The UMC Golden Eagle Hockey team competes in the NCAA Division III - Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association (MCHA).
