Reader's Theater - be a part of a team that reads books to children (schools, day cares, ECFE, Headstart, etc.). Each volunteer assumes a character in the book to be read and the story unfolds in a delightful way.

Senior Surfers (change Computer Literacy to this) - receive training and volunteer to assist in helping your peers learn basic computer skills, i.e. e-mail, internet, etc.

Heritage Builders - many ethnic crafts/skills will be lost if they aren't taught to others. Receive training in how to teach your skill and then go to schools, community centers, etc. and teach others.

Financial Management - receive training in a curriculum entitled Dollar Works, and be available to assist families, single mothers, etc. in the basics of money management.

Tutoring - many students need extra help with their studies, as well as a little nurturing and self esteem building. A few hours a week can make a big difference.
