U of M, Crookston Welcomes More Than 130 Youth to Camp RYLA July 13-19, 2008

Welcome to Rotary Youth Leadership Award Camp -- Camp RYLA!

Enthusiastic teens, ages 16-18, are participating in a week of intense leadership training that includes a combination of challenging physical and mental activities, regional speakers, and discussion.

Sponsored by Rotary International, District 5580, in Crookston, the camp leads youth in discussions on managing community service projects, becoming role models for friends, facing decisions on issues such as chemical use and abuse (drugs and drinking), and resolving family, social, and professional conflicts.

We wish to thank the many sponsoring Rotary clubs from Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Ontario!
