Distinguished Professional and Administrative (P&A) Award
The purpose of this award is to promote and recognize excellence in job performance among University of Minnesota Crookston professional and administrative (or P&A) employees.
Each year, one nominated employee is selected by a committee appointed by the U of M Crookston Chancellor. Nominations are accepted from students, colleagues, alumni, U of M Crookston clubs or organizations, centers, and/or individual faculty and staff. The award recipient will receive a plaque and a $250.00 cash award.
How to nominate...
Eligibility
P & A professionals will be evaluated on the basis of a nomination letter documenting their achievements and contributions on campus. The nomination should provide specific evidence of excellence worthy of this recognition. Such evidence may include supporting letters from persons knowledgeable about the nominee’s campus contributions. Nominees must have at least three years of P&A employment (at 75% time or higher) at the Crookston campus at the time of nomination.
Nomination Procedure
Nominations may come from administrators, faculty, staff, students or student organizations. Self nominations are also permitted.
Please forward a letter of nomination electronically, outlining the nominee’s qualifications to Chris Winjum - cwinjum@umn.edu by April 15, 2024. Selection of the UMC Professional and Administrative Award recipient will be based solely on the material included in this nomination.
