Ed Widseth Field is the home of the University of Minnesota Crookston football team. A newly renovated football field with press box, bleachers and lights. The stadium can seat up to 2,000 people and is a grass playing surface. In addition, the facility contains a ticket booth, concession building with handicapped accessible bathroom and an all-weather track. The football field was officially named Ed Widseth Field in lasting tribute to Edwin Widseth, northwest School of Agriculture '32, All-American, All-Pro (MVP 1938) and College Football Hall of Fame Recipient.

The Golden Eagles are currently fundraising to put in a state-of-the art field turf playing surface at Ed Widseth Field. This playing surface would be more easily playable for UMC and Crookston High School due to weather concerns in the Red River Valley.
