Welcome UMC Alumni
The University of Minnesota Crookston Alumni Association (UMCAA) represents all U of M Crookston graduates from 1968 to the present. Dedicated in 1966, the University of Minnesota Technical Institute, as it was originally called, began offering associate degrees primarily in the areas of business and agriculture. Known as the Trojans, these two-year alumni are a vital part of our history.
In 1993, UMC began offering baccalaureate degree programs. With this new era, the campus carries on the proud traditions of the past, while establishing itself as an educational leader. The official publication of the U of M Crookston Alumni Association (UMCAA) is the Torch.
The mission of the U of M Crookston Alumni Association is to visibly promote and support the U of M Crookston through communication, outreach, and recognition while building lifelong connections and preserving our legacy. For members of the UMCAA, homecoming is one of the times we want to encourage alumni to come back to campus. If you are interested in serving on the Alumni Association Board or if you wish to plan a gathering for your friends or classmates during homecoming weekend, contact the alumni office (Rose Ulseth) to assist the effort at 218-281-8439 (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Don't miss out on upcoming events for alumni & donors!
