UMC Library Building Closed
Current Resources and Services
The library building at the University of Minnesota Crookston will be closed until further notice.
The due date for materials currently checked out from any University of Minnesota library has been extended indefinitely. This change will be in place until the library is open again. As all libraries of the University of Minnesota have been temporarily closed and no print materials may be checked out, the Get It service has been suspended.
Interlibrary Loan Requests
We are limiting ILL to items that are only available electronically for an indefinite period. Requests for physical materials (e.g. print books, DVDs, etc.) will be put on hold, but we will attempt to fill book requests with ebooks. Please do not return any interlibrary loan items at this time. We are renewing materials that are currently checked out. There will be no overdue fines or blocks applied to patron accounts.
Library Course Pages in Canvas
A new library service, named Library Course Page, was recently launched in Canvas. With this service, each course includes links to library services and instructors have the option to add reserve materials to their courses. See our Faculty Resources guide for more information. Instructors also have the option of embedding a research guide into Canvas. For more information about this option, contact Keri Youngstrand at email@example.com.
The UMC Library has an abundance of materials that may be accessed remotely. Use the library catalog to find thousands of items, including books, articles, media, and more.
