Annual Night of Expression

Attend the Black Student Association's Annual Night of Expression to be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017, beginning at 4:30-6:30 p.m. with a meal and cultural/arts display. At 6:30 p.m., activities move to the Kiehle Auditorium for an evening of entertainment. The cost is $12 per person or $75 for a table of 8 people. Children age five and under are free. Guests may purchase a meal in Brown Dining Room and dine in Bede Ballroom, Sargeant Student Center, where a cultural/arts display will be on exhibit. The theme of this year’s event is Blacks in Arts and Entertainment and All that Jazz. Scheduled performers include the Robbinsdale Cooper Step Team, Afro Fusion, Praise Feet, Guadalupe Crawford, as well as UMC students, faculty, and staff. The event is sponsored by BSA, the Black History Month Committee, and Diversity & Multicultural Programs. The event is part of Black History Month and sponsored by the Black Student Association, the Black History Month Committee, and the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Programs.
