An evening of silent auctions, games of chance, taco bar, popcorn, and dueling pianos entertainment were all a part of raising money for scholarships for student athletes during UMC Teambacker Fun Nite. The event, held at the Crookston Eagles Club and hosted by UMC Teambackers, raised more than $18,600. Teambacker of the Year Award

In addition to fundraising in support of scholarships for student-athletes at University of Minnesota Crookston, Fun Nite is also when the Teambacker of the Year is recognized. Charles "Chuck" Larson was named the award winner for his tireless efforts in promoting UMC Teambackers this past year. Larson also was Teambacker of the Year in 2001-02.

UMC Teambacker President Alysa Tulibaski would like to thank all of our members for a great year. We look forward to an even better 2017-18.

Join us this summer for the Mark Olsonawski Golf Tournament in Hallock, Minn., on Thursday, June 22 and for the Teambacker Golf Classic on Friday, July 14 in Crookston.
